Founder's Letter
Loss can have a profound impact on life. After my father died unexpectedly, I found solace in becoming a first-time dog mom to a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Cooper. The moment he walked through my door, he stole my heart and home and became my family. I quickly learned that having a pet in the house was not conducive to the "picture-perfect" rooms I dreamt of. All the products were created for people or pets--not both, and they weren't very stylish or functional. Designing products became my mission, and I stepped down from a career that included global marketing and branding. In 2019, my dream of 'connecting people and pets beautifully' became a reality, and Fursatile was born. Fursatile has quickly developed a loyal following among the nation's leading interior designers, celebrities and pet parents, and has been featured in a number of publications. I'm humbled by the love and support of this community. None more so than when my mom - Fursatile's biggest cheerleader, passed away in January 2022. Losing someone is never easy, but much like when my father died and I started Fursatile, I've realized that sometimes 'what feels like the end is just the beginning.'
